Central figure in the history of Fado, Joel Pina celebrated 100 years of age this year. He was born in the same year that Amália, whom he accompanied on stage for three decades. This double centenary is cause for celebration in a concert promoted by Museu do Fado at Teatro São Luiz, with several generations of fado singers paying tribute.
