Lisboa 5L is a literary festival that takes place in Lisbon between the 4th and 8th of May 2022 and which aims to simultaneously celebrate Language, Literature, Books, Bookstores and Reading.Now in its second edition, the festival is an initiative of the Lisbon City Council (Câmara Municipal de Lisboa) that takes advantage of the city’s cultural life, but which at the same time intends to invite new audiences to discover authors both ancient and modern, both recent and forgotten books. and challenging topics around the subject of the language and its speakers.

The programme includes debates, author tables, exhibitions, cinema and music and theater shows, in a great celebration of the prose and poetry of Portuguese and foreign authors.
