On World AIDS day São Luiz hosts the 26th edition of Gala Abraço, a transvestism show, with transvestites, drag queens, transsexuals, LGBTi artists and supporters, to remind us of the importance of inclusion and solidarity. It is a night devoted to human rights protection and equality, to underline, once again that diversity is a treasure.
It’s been more than a decade since Teatro São Luiz joined this initiative, created by Carlos Castro, named Gala Noite dos Travestis, as an occasion to fight against stigmas and support the work of Associação Abraço in providing help to the people who are sick with AIDS in 2018.
