Description

In Má Educação – Peça em 3 Rounds, the stage is transformed into a boxing ring. Joana Gama is at the piano and accompanies the fights as a neutral referee who dialogues with those who are facing each other and also with the recorded music (composed by Hélder Gonçalves). On stage, a dancer, an actor and a child – three different generations that come into play in different tensions and disputes, in a mirror of what Education is and everything around it: the opposition between teachers and students, between future and past, between learning and knowledge. A performance by Inês Barahona and Miguel Fragata, with choreography by Victor Hugo Pontes, where theatre and dance fight for an idea of utopia: a revolutionary construction for the future, born of many questions – What is Education? How is Education? What does one educate? What do we educate for? To where? – and of a phase of research with the people who live in the space of education and who contribute to the creation of its atmosphere. A fight for a cataclysm.
