As part of the Open Doors initiative promoted by Acesso Cultura, the São Luiz Theatre invites the public to discover its backstage through guided tours led by our team.

The visit has interpretation in Portuguese Sign Language, guaranteeing access to a wider audience.

This tour also reveals the theatre’s less visible spaces – dressing rooms, backstage, understage – and reveals the professions, stories and curiosities that inhabit this century-old building. Throughout the visit, you’ll discover remarkable episodes from the past, characters who have passed through and even some of the superstitions that are still part of the theatre’s tradition today.
