The story of the 25th of April cannot be told without political exiles. In the year commemorating the 50th anniversary of the revolution, Teatro São Luiz will hear the stories of refugees who, in the opposite direction, chose Portugal for their exile. Who are the political refugees currently living here? How do you oppose and resist thousands of kilometres away? This is the subject of the talk given by Associação Pão a Pão (PAP) – an NGO (Non-Governmental Organisation for Development) that promotes the integration of refugees and immigrants through their knowledge, experience and culture. And, as much of this also involves food, PAP is creating a moment of gastronomic sharing, making a bridge out of bread that takes us to cuisines of various origins and geographies and connects us to each other.
