Vincent Peirani is one of Europe’s most innovative accordionists. A composer and improviser, the French musician blends jazz, classical, contemporary and rock music into a creative and unique style. A winner of the Victoires du Jazz in 2014 (“Revelation”) and 2015 (“Artist of the Year”), he has distinguished himself both through his own projects and through collaborations with artists such as Daniel Humair, Michel Portal and Sanseverino, as well as his work in film. At Misty Fest, he presents Time Reflections, the fourth instalment of his acclaimed Living Being project. Created during the pandemic lockdown, the album reflects on time through music that combines contemporary beats, echoes of traditional dance and subtle baroque references. On stage, Peirani and his quintet transform these ideas into an intense, imaginative and deeply immersive concert.
