Alkantara Festival invites artists and audiences to an international programme of dance, theatre, performance and encounters in the city of Lisbon. Throughout the festival, projects are presented that start from artistic, political, cultural and social investigations to experiment with formats and possibilities of dialogue. At Teatro São Luiz, the shows by Calixto Neto, Sónia Baptista and Marcelo Evelin and the programme curated by the Aurora Negra collective invite audiences to movements and experiences: between places of resistance and dream, emeetings around food, late summer loves, or small gestures and sounds that transport us to new ways of existing in community.
