From the moment they are sown, the trees remain always in the same place, from which they feed, defend themselves and reproduce. They are not like people, who are born in a country and can travel or even move to the other side of the planet. And just as the music differs from Continent to Continent, we can find very different trees scattered around the world: trees that are real houses, others that move crowds to be admired, others that produce material that reaches the moon… In this concert, the pianist Joana Gamma discloses these and other stories about the wonderful world of trees.
As a complement to As Árvores Não Têm Pernas Para Andar, pianist Joana Gama will hold a workshop in the schools attending the show, in order to introduce the theme in a school context.
