Description

Present times live trapped by speed and memory is conveniently replaced by rhetoric and impressions. In these monthly conversations of social, political, cultural and philosophical analysis, coordinated and moderated by Tiago Bartolomeu Costa, the details of present times are dismantled and the consequences of what is news are analysed against the “daily froth”. We bring to the meeting with the public ways of thinking, of foreseeing and of pursuing a common life, in a time of polarizations and mediatism, where the news have a 24-hour cycle but the consequences have no end time. In an open conversation, a regular panel of guests analyses common themes, confronting ideas and offering interpretations, in a gesture of public debate that we hope will be motivated and committed. Over the course of a season, the Theatre is the centre of the debates, becoming a place of thought and awareness.

With: Francisco Mendes da Silva, Isabel Moreira, Maria Paula Meneses and Paulo Pedroso.
