Description

A multidisciplinary platform for contemporary puppetry arts and one of the most important international meeting points for puppet theatre, FIMFA – Festival Internacional de Marionetas e Formas Animadas continues its mission of promotion, diffusion and recognition of the universe of animated forms. At Teatro São Luiz, one of its main stages, puppets open paths to new territories, with the presentation of shows for all ages, by renowned creators worldwide and young creators, who stand out in contemporary puppetry creation for their originality, inventiveness, technical and artistic quality.

The diversity of the puppet, hybrid art without borders, will be present with artists who share their vision of the world and seek to develop new languages from the relationships between the body, the object and the image, from materials in movement, sound and projected images, in a path marked by discovery, experimentation and sharing – the puppet to see and think the world with a different look.
